The challenges with internet marketing courses

Let’s look at the marketplace for an affiliate internet marketing program and talk about the training courses available to folks out there to further their knowledge and skill sets for internet marketing.  One of the main challenges with taking internet marketing courses is that there is so many different avenues to explore. You can choose from Google Adsense, Amazon FBA seller, Kindle publishing for books to affiliate marketing and many more avenues outside of these.  The big questions are What avenue do you want to take first? which course do you enroll in to get the best training for the avenue of marketing you are pursuing? How do you know the source teaching the class is up to date with Google’s search engine updates and technology?

These are all great questions and to be honest with you there isn’t that many courses out there that cover it all and can stay on top of the constant changes taking place day to day with marketing techniques and the technology. Wealthy Affiliate is a platform created and founded by Kyle Loudoun and Carson Lim on September 10, 2005.  This platform is a place where internet marketers from all levels of experience can go to increase their skills.  They can do this by attending LIVE webinar CLASSES, attending the step by step training certifications and sharing information with others by asking and answering questions on different marketing topics. It’s a social community of over 80,000 members where people can share their tips for success and their mistakes made.  

Is Wealthy Affiliate for me?

You don’t have to be an advanced programmer, advanced web developer or experienced internet marketer to succeed here.  There are plenty others within the platform that can bring that skill set to the table to help you out along your journey.  This platform is for everyone from all different walks of life and is a great place to start, especially if you are just getting started or are a beginner to creating websites and marketing them on search engines.

Cons

• Easy to get distracted if you don’t follow the certification program first.
• Easy to get overwhelmed with too much knowledge if you don’t focus on 1 thing at time.
• If you host sites under the platform and cancel your membership then your sites are taken offline unless you do a domain name transfer to a different hosting company.

Dashboard – This is the main page of the platform that shows you your profile, search option and the different areas within the platform that you can navigate to.

 

The Training Section 

Online Entrepreneur Certification – Comes with 5 separate categories with a total of 167 videos and a step by step guide to building out your online business and building a foundation of skill sets to become successful as an internet marketer.

Affiliate Boot Camp – This is an affiliate program that Wealthy Affiliate offers for to folks who might not have any idea what they want to promote or market.  It’s a step by step guide to walk people through building a site and promoting Wealthy Affiliates platform. This includes 7 sections with a total of 227 videos.

My Training Activity – Is a tracker tool that shows you where you left off in training so you can come back to the video and pick it back up at later time.

Training HQ – This is the training headquarters area where you can access and search through the database of recorded classes and webinars on different marketing techniques.

Classrooms – This is where LIVE webinars are uploaded after the class has been completed so that if you miss a live webinar you can still watch it after the live webinar is over.

 

Websites Section

Site Manager – This is where you go to access your site and view your sites health.

Site Builder – Holds the Word Press platform plugin, where you can start building your website and connect your domain name to the back office of WordPress.

Site Domains – A search option and area that you can find a URL or domain name and find out if it is available and also purchase the domain.

Site Content – This is a place where they have pre-written templates that help you get started on writing posts and putting content together for your website in a professional appearance that is SEO friendly to search engines.  Following the templates format helps increase your ranking ability when publishing posts to the search engines.

Site Comments – This is similar to the site feedback section only this is where you would submit your site to an audience within Wealthy Affiliate platform that will write comments in your website for feedback. This helps with social interaction which again is 100% organic and helps with ranking in Google.

Site Feedback – A section that allows you to submit your website to an audience that will give you opinions and reviews on how to improve the look and feel of your site, as well as the content.

Site Support – A live chat for support with any issues you might have with your website.

 

Live Events Section – A detailed calendar showing when live webinar training will be presenting so you can book your calendar to make sure you don’t miss out on live training and Q&A after the class.

Live Chat Section – Talk to someone live through chat at any time to resolve any website issues that you might encounter. They are available 24/7.

Package 1.

Wealthy Affiliate has 3 different packages to chose from. The first is a FREE starter package that allows you access to the basic functionality of the platform.  It also allows you access to building 2 FREE sites through SiteRubix.

 

 

Package 2.

This is the premium package that includes all the functionality that Wealthy affiliates offers and is priced at 19.00 the first month and then you pay 47.00/month every month after. It also gives you access to building out 25 sites through their hosting with Amazon Servers.

 

 

Package 3.

This is the YEARLY premium package that is probably the cheapest way to go if you have the money to pay out up front.  It is a 1 time payment of 358.00 and it also allows you to take advantage of the massive discount when you calculate out the monthly bill which comes to 29.99/month.  The catch here is you have to sign up for the premium account first then upgrade to the yearly package. It also gives you access to building out 50 sites through their hosting with Amazon Servers.

Conclusion

We hope this helps you out and you enjoyed the wealthy affiliates review.  We have tried a few different affiliate internet marketing programs through the years and each has its advantages and disadvantages.  This platform and training program however serves the majority of people from beginners to advanced with helping them build on their skills they already have and helps build a foundation for folks who are just getting started.
